MARGARET ROSSELLI
THE MARGARET ROSSELLI, ANNE M. KLEUBER, AND MARYANN ROMANO SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Margaret Rosselli was a devoted mother whose love of family was matched by her love of cooking. She delighted in preparing food for those she loved and passed that passion along to her daughters, Anne M. Kleuber and Maryann Romano, and to the generations that followed. Cooking was more than a skill in the Rosselli family—it was a way of bringing people together, sharing traditions, and creating memories.
Margaret’s talent in the kitchen was recognized beyond her family. In a Star Market cooking contest held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Cambridge in 1980, she won first prize– a microwave oven and a $500 gift certificate–for her creation, Spinach Cordon Bleu. The winning recipe was named by her daughter, Maryann, who helped arrange the dish for presentation. Anne accompanied her mother to the contest and also helped with preparation—a wonderful moment of the three women’s shared connection to cooking and to one another.
Anne M. Kleuber, a longtime Carlisle resident, successful businesswoman, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, carried that family love and tradition throughout her life. She cherished her daughters, grandchildren, and extended family and remained deeply connected to the people she loved. Her sister, Maryann Romano, shared that same devotion to family and the traditions they created together.
Anne established this scholarship fund in memory of her mother, Margaret, to continue her legacy. Following Anne’s passing in 2026, her family has chosen to honor Margaret, Anne, and Maryann together through this fund. In their memory, the family celebrates the love they shared, the family traditions they passed down, and the simple joy of gathering around a table to cook, eat, laugh, and be together.
